Biography of Christian Vieri
Christian Vieri is a former Italian football player who was born on July 12, 1973, in Bologna, Italy. He had a successful career, playing for several top clubs and representing the Italian national team.

Club Career
Vieri spent a significant portion of his career playing for Inter Milan. He joined the club in 1999 in a record-breaking transfer from Lazio for 90 million Italian lire ($48.5 million), making him the most expensive player in the world at that time. He played for Inter Milan until 2005 when a conflict with the club's management led to his departure.

After leaving Inter Milan, Vieri joined AC Milan in the winter transfer window of 2005. However, due to his strained relationship with the club's fans, he left AC Milan after a short period. He then moved to AS Monaco in 2006, where he played until 2008.

Vieri also had brief stints at Blackburn Rovers in England and Atalanta in Italy. However, his career was marred by injuries, and he struggled to reach his previous peak form. In October 2009, Vieri announced his retirement from professional football, but a month later, he signed a six-month contract with Brazilian club Boavista.
International Career
Vieri represented the Italian national team, making his debut on March 29, 1997, in a match against Moldova. He played for Italy until October 12, 2005, in a match also against Moldova. He participated in major tournaments such as the European Championship and the World Cup, contributing significantly to Italy's success.
Post-Football Career
After retiring from professional football, Vieri ventured into business. In 2003, he co-founded a clothing brand called Sweet Years with his friend Paolo Maldini. They found innovative ways to promote their brand, such as wearing undershirts with the company's logo underneath their football jerseys. Vieri also owns a restaurant and bar called Baci e Abbracci, which he co-owns with his friend and namesake, Brocchi.
In July 2016, Vieri hinted at a possible comeback to professional football but ultimately did not pursue it. Despite the ups and downs in his career, Vieri's contributions to Italian football and his impressive goal-scoring abilities have solidified his legacy as one of the country's greatest strikers.
