Role in "Days of Our Lives"
Kristy Clark is most well-known for her role in the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" (1965-2009), where she played a character named Carrie Brady. This long-running series began before the actress was even born, and she appeared in it episodically, three times from 1986-1990, 1992-1999, and 2005-2006. The role of Carrie Brady was previously played by Andrea Barber and Tracy Middendorf, but Kristy Clark proved to be the best among all actresses. Return to "Days of Our Lives"
Kristy Clark returned to the series once again shortly after its forty-year anniversary, just before it underwent restructuring due to reduced funding and a new head writer. These changes led to a revamp of the cast, and in August 2006, Kristy Clark made her final appearance on the set of the series. The last episode featuring her aired in October of the same year. However, it is important to mention the reasons why the actress left the project for the penultimate time. In 1999, she took a break from filming to finally be able to finish university (and she chose to study in London, across the Atlantic). During this trip to Europe, she met Thomas Burns (in a truly romantic setting - in Ibiza, Spain), and they got married on August 31, 2002. Shortly after, the couple returned to the USA, and the actress "recovered" in the series, then was excluded from it. However, as it turned out, this was even for the better: in 2008, Kristy gave birth to her daughter, Hannah Bella Burns, and the actress was able to fully dedicate herself to raising her child.
