Biography of Christina Thornburn

Christina Thornburn is a renowned Californian cyclist, talented racer specializing in cycling trials and mountain biking. She was born on September 17, 1969, in Sunnyvale, California. Thornburn completed her studies at Pleasant Valley Community High School in 1988 and later attended Grinnell College. In 1999, she earned a prestigious medical degree after completing her studies at Stanford. Three years later, she became a certified Internal Medicine specialist. Currently, Christina is conducting genetic research and practicing clinical medicine in the field of critical care at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in California.

In her childhood, Christina was actively involved in sports and excelled in running, winning several prestigious awards. However, she suffered a serious knee injury which forced her to give up running. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for cycling.
