Early Life and Career

Cindy Margolis, also known as Cindy, was born into a Jewish family on October 1, 1965, in Los Angeles. According to an interview she gave to Playboy magazine, her career began at the University of California when she needed to promote a business project related to greeting cards. The cards featured a photo of herself in lingerie along with her phone number. The business project was a success, and she started receiving offers to become a model. Soon, she began appearing in advertisements for companies such as "Reebok," "Coors," "Frederick's of Hollywood," and many others. In 1986, she became the face of "Makita Power Tools" and appeared at specialized woodworking exhibitions. She is best known to television viewers for her infomercials, which she co-hosted with Tony Robbins and Don Lapre. Additionally, she participated in the game show "The Price Is Right" in 1995 and starred in the film "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" in 1997, playing the role of an android girl. In 2000, she hosted the "Cindy Margolis Show" in Miami Beach.

Internet Fame and Later Career

Cindy Margolis gained further fame through the internet. According to Yahoo!, she was the "Queen of the Internet" from 1996 to 1999. In 2000, she was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the "most downloaded" person on the internet in 1999. At the age of 34, her photos attracted 70 million users worldwide within 24 hours (although this record was later surpassed when Danny Ash's photos were downloaded over a billion times on December 5, 2000). In November 2005, Margolis, a skilled poker player and participant in well-known American tournaments, became the host of the "World Poker Tour."

In 2006, she posed fully nude for Playboy magazine again. Cindy claimed that although she had previously posed for the magazine, she had never fully undressed. This time, she decided to do so because she still looked stunning at the age of 40, and she believed that such a photoshoot could boost the confidence of herself and other women her age. Her inspiration for the shoot came from the TV series "Desperate Housewives." Part of the proceeds from that issue of the magazine went to charity. In 2008, she posed for Playboy again, and the magazine organized a contest where participants competed for the chance to attend a private party with Cindy Margolis. Once again, a portion of the proceeds was directed towards improving healthcare for pregnant women. In the same year, the reality show "Sex and the Cindy," where participants competed for her favor, began filming.

It is worth mentioning that Cindy was previously married to restaurateur Guy Starkman. In 2002, she gave birth to her son Nicholas Isaac through artificial insemination. In 2005, she became a mother to twins Sabrina and Sierra, who were born via a surrogate mother. Cindy and Guy's marriage ended in 2008.
