Maria Melnikova was born in Lviv, Ukraine, in 1991. Her maiden name, Gural, is from her Jewish father. Despite her parents' divorce when she was young, both actively raised Maria, making her childhood a happy one.
An excellent student, Maria excelled in academics, languages (particularly English), and ballroom dancing, which she pursued for 15 years. Upon completing high school, she faced a choice between studying abroad in Canada, per her father's advice, or in Kyiv, Ukraine, as her mother preferred. Ultimately, she chose Kyiv.
Modeling Career
Maria's modeling journey began with the "Miss Lviv" pageant, where she placed second. Her slender physique (168 cm tall, weighing about 55 kg) propelled her further in the industry.
In 2017, she partnered with House of CB, becoming the face of their dresses worn by international celebrities. She made her runway debut with Igor Chapurin, captivating fans. Her stunning photos earned her a Cosmopolitan cover in 2020, where she shared her beauty secrets.
Philanthropy

Maria's romance with Mot (Matvey Melnikov) blossomed through social media. After initial online interactions, they met and quickly fell in love, cohabiting shortly after. During a vacation in Thailand, Mot proposed, and they married in 2016. A church wedding followed in 2017, along with a honeymoon in Greece.
Blessing their union with a son, Solomon, Maria gave birth in the presence of her supportive husband. Despite her new role as a wife and mother, Maria continued her modeling career, albeit to a lesser extent.
Musical Journey
