Cody Martin Linley was born in 1989 in Lewisville, Texas, U.S. He began his acting career at a young age, starring in the film "Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack" in 1998. By the age of 12, Cody was already a recognizable and popular actor, with several notable roles ahead of him.

In 2000, he appeared in various projects including the family film "My Dog Skip," the melodrama "Where the Heart Is," and the comedy-action film "Miss Congeniality." The following year, Cody landed the lead role in the family comedy "When Zachary Beaver Came to Town," portraying a chubby boy who arrives in a small southern American town, where he experiences great adventures.
