American Boy, Entrepreneur
Connor Zamari is an American boy who currently holds the title of the youngest programmer in the history of the AppStore, the online catalog of iPhone applications. Entrepreneurship is something that many Americans try to instill in their children from a young age, often through selling homemade lemonade or chocolate cookies. However, 7-year-old Connor took a different path - he released his own game for the iPhone.

The Creation of 'Toaster Pop'
Connor not only developed the game himself, which in itself was highly impressive, but he also managed to find investors, control the publishing process, and even secure a spot for his creation in the AppStore. Of course, Connor's game, 'Toaster Pop', cannot be compared to hits like 'StarCraft II' or 'Diablo III', and it falls short of the popularity of 'Angry Birds'. However, players acknowledge the unique charm of toasting digital bread. The game is not distributed for free, but the price of 99 cents is considered affordable in the AppStore.
Inspiration and Challenges
The idea for the game came from Connor's father, who once told him about classic 'vintage' toasters. It was then that Connor conceived the idea of a program that would allow people to play with a digital toaster. In the first version of 'Toaster Pop', players could only toast bread in the toaster and manually spread butter on it. However, the functionality expanded in later versions. According to Connor, the most challenging aspect was not the programming process itself, but rather finding investors. Despite this, the 7-year-old Zamari brilliantly solved the problem on his own. He identified the most promising investors, created a PowerPoint presentation, filled out all the necessary paperwork, and held several conference calls with developers. Interestingly, Connor did not even have his own email address and conducted all communication through his father's mailbox.
A Bright Future Ahead
At just 7 years old, Zamari has already proven himself to be an exceptional entrepreneur, and he has no intention of stopping there. He is currently developing the second version of the program, and a detailed description of its architecture already adorns the family refrigerator. It is very likely that his younger sister, 6-year-old Annabelle, will follow in his footsteps. She already has an idea for her own program.
