Apart from her triumphant victory, Brokken left an unforgettable mark on Eurovision by participating in the 1956 contest with "Voorgoed voorbij" and again in 1958 with "Heel de wereld." In 1958, she shared 9th-10th place, making her the only artist in Eurovision history to have held both the top and bottom positions.
