Cricket Brown, stage name of Kristen Brown, was born in 1997 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her hometown is also the birthplace of prominent actors F. Murray Abraham and Michael Keaton, and has a population of approximately 300,000. Cricket grew up with two brothers, Steve and Andrew, and graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts at the age of 21.

Early Career

Brown's acting career began with roles in independent short films, including Olivia Wilde's "Awake." She also honed her skills on stage, performing in productions such as Richard Jones's "Doomsday" at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City and William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" alongside the North Carolina Symphony.
