Biography of Daenerys Targaryen
Daenerys Targaryen (Daenerys Stormborn) is a fictional character in the series of books "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin and the television series "Game of Thrones". She is considered one of the most prominent and popular characters in the series.
Early Life
Daenerys Targaryen, also known as Dany, was born into a powerful family but was forced into exile after her family, the Targaryens, were overthrown by Robert Baratheon. Living a life on the run, Daenerys and her older brother Viserys constantly faced threats on their lives from those who saw them as a threat to their power.
Marriage to Khal Drogo
In order to regain their lost power, Viserys arranged for Daenerys to marry Khal Drogo, the leader of a nomadic group known as the Dothraki. Daenerys initially struggled to adapt to life among the Dothraki, but eventually gained their respect and even became a leader in her own right.
