Daphne Schippers was born in Utrecht, Netherlands, on June 15, 1992. She began her athletic career at the age of 9 and quickly displayed exceptional talent. In 2009, she made her international debut at the European Athletics Junior Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia, where she placed an impressive fourth, competing against athletes two years her senior.
