Early Career and Success
From a tender age, music held an irresistible allure for Davnet. She honed her skills on the guitar and clarinet, releasing her debut single, "A List of Things," in 1996. The single garnered critical acclaim, earning Doyle nominations for a Juno Award and East Coast Music Award.

In 2000, Davnet released her sophomore album, "Hyperdramatic," showcasing her vocal prowess with hit singles like "Tattooed" and "Never Too Late." The video for "Never Too Late" received recognition at the East Coast Music Awards for Best Video. In 2001, Doyle triumphed at the ECMAs, winning Female Vocalist of the Year.

Collaborations and Shaye Membership
Davnet's third album, self-titled "Davnet," was released in 2003. She penned the songs alongside Gordie Sampson, and the album was released through Lakewind Sound Studios. In the same year, she embarked on a special mission to Kabul, Afghanistan, to perform for American troops as part of Rick Mercer's Christmas in Kabul.
Davnet's versatility extended to collaborations with Alexz Johnson, co-writing several tracks for "Songs from Instant Star" and "Songs from Instant Star Two." She also teamed up with Rex Goudie on his album "Look Closer," sharing a duet on one of the songs.
From 2003 to 2009, Davnet became a prominent member of the group Shaye, contributing to the recording of six albums.
Solo LP and Formation of The Heartbroken
In 2008, Davnet released her own solo LP, "Lights Down Low." Seeking new artistic avenues, she joined forces with Blake Manning, Stuart Cameron, and Peter Fusco to form The Heartbroken in 2009. The band's debut album, "Tonight Tonight," hit the shelves in June 2010.
