"Arbeid Adelt!" was formed in 1981 by Marcel Vanthilt and Jan Van Roelen. In 1985, the band improved with the addition of guitarist Willy-Willy, formerly of the band "Scabs," who replaced Luc Van Acker. Around the same time, Dani Klein joined the band as the vocalist, while still being a backing vocalist in "Catalog of Cool." Together, they recorded the single "Decoiffé / Stroom." However, the band soon disbanded due to disagreements with the recording company.
