Danielle Lloyd was born on December 16, 1983, in Liverpool, England. Her parents were an engineer and a bank manager. Although she claims to have been bullied in school, the director of St Hilda's, one of the schools she attended, denied these allegations. According to her teachers, she had a tendency to bully others herself.

After finishing school, Danielle decided to pursue a career in the modeling industry while also training to become a cosmetologist specializing in massage. She also became a qualified manicurist. In the early stages of her modeling career, Danielle suffered a traumatic incident where her ex-boyfriend violently attacked her, resulting in injuries and the loss of a significant amount of hair.

In July 17, 2004, Danielle won the Miss England pageant and went on to compete in Miss World 2004, but did not achieve success. On February 26, 2006, she added the title of Miss Great Britain to her achievements, but later lost it on November 2 due to a scandal.
