Biography: Daniil Ganitsky
Early Career and DebutDaniil Ganitsky, a Ukrainian footballer, commenced his professional career as a midfielder in the summer of 1999 when he joined FC Metalurh Mariupol. On July 12, 1999, he made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League against FC Chornomorets Odessa, entering as a substitute in the 77th minute.
Goal Scoring Debut and Season Stats
Ganitsky's first and only Premier League goal came on October 31, 1999, in a match against FC Metalist Kharkiv. He scored in the 71st minute against goalkeeper Oleksandr Horyainov, contributing to a 3-1 victory. Throughout the 1999/00 season, Ganitsky accumulated 16 appearances and scored a single goal.
Later Career and Coaching
After his time with Metalurh Mariupol, Ganitsky played for FC Metalurh-2 Mariupol in the Ukrainian Second League. In 2002, he joined the newly formed FC Sevastopol, coached by Valeriy Petrov. During the 2002/03 season, he recorded 19 appearances and 3 goals. In 2004, he briefly trialed with FC Helios Kharkiv.
In 2006, Ganitsky made four appearances and scored two goals in the Ukrainian Amateur Championship for the Mariupol team, "Bratya i K."
Education and Political Career
Ganitsky graduated from the Pryazovskyi State Technical University in 2002. In 2006, he was appointed as the Head of the Department of Industry and Territorial Development in Mariupol, having previously served as Deputy Head. In 2009, he became the Deputy Chairman of the Ilyichevsk District Administration.
