Early Life and Education
Daniyar Alimbayev was born on May 19, 1986, in Aktau, Kazakhstan. After completing his secondary education, he pursued a degree in technical sciences at the Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov.
Comedy Career
Alimbayev's comedic talent emerged when he joined a local KVN team. His exceptional humor earned him a place on the Aktau national team, which eventually led him to the West Kazakhstan region team. He also graced the prestigious KVN festival in Sochi, Russia.
Personal Life
Beyond his humor, Alimbayev was known for his intelligence, positivity, and enthusiasm. He was an avid chess player and enjoyed playing poker. He cherished his family, raising four beloved children.
Tragic Demise
On June 21, 2018, at approximately 3:30 AM, Alimbayev approached a bar in the sixth microdistrict of Aktau. As a verbal altercation nearby escalated into a physical confrontation, Alimbayev distanced himself, opting to observe the situation. However, one of the enraged participants charged towards him and inflicted several stab wounds to his legs.
Alimbayev sustained severe injuries, including deep lacerations to the muscles and arteries of one of his legs. Emergency responders rushed him to the Mangystau Regional Hospital, where doctors performed urgent surgery. Despite the procedure's success, Alimbayev succumbed to excessive blood loss in the intensive care unit.
Investigation and Aftermath
The incident led to a criminal investigation under Article 99, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (murder). Three suspects, all residents of Aktau, were apprehended. The investigation remains ongoing.
Alimbayev's untimely passing shocked the KVN community and the public at large. His legacy as a talented comedian and dedicated family man continues to inspire.
