Biography of David Boudia
David Boudia, born on April 24, 1989, in Abilene, Texas, is a professional diver representing the sport of platform diving. He began his sports career as a gymnast but eventually decided to pursue diving. Boudia relocated to Indianapolis to train at the National Training Center.
Dedicated Athlete
From a young age, Boudia showed a passion for sports. He initially dedicated his time to gymnastics but had to give it up as he grew older. After exploring various sports, he found his calling in diving. Boudia's training begins at 6:20 am every day, where he focuses on both platform diving and synchronized diving.
Partnership with Thomas Finchum
Boudia's partner in synchronized diving is Thomas Finchum. While there is intense competition between the two athletes to claim the top spot, their rivalry is always friendly and supportive. Boudia and Finchum treat each other like brothers, celebrating victories and consoling each other in defeat.
