Biography of David Bradley
David Bradley, a British theater and film actor, was born on April 17, 1942, in York, England. He was an energetic child who loved playing pranks and was passionate about football. Not much is known about Bradley's childhood and adolescence, as he rarely talks about it and avoids contact with journalists. However, it is established that he began acting in theater at the age of 15 and continued to be a member of an amateur theater group while attending university.

At the age of 24, Bradley's passion for acting led him to join the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 1972, he had the opportunity to meet Laurence Olivier, who welcomed Bradley into the Royal National Theatre. Olivier had a tremendous influence on Bradley and played a crucial role in shaping his acting skills.

After two years, Bradley's contract with the theater ended, and he started working with major theater companies in England. He participated in productions such as "Julius Caesar," "Twelfth Night," "Three Sisters," and many others. In 1991, David Bradley received the Olivier Award for his role as the Fool in the Royal National Theatre's production of "King Lear." In 1993, he was honored with the Clarence Derwent Award for his performances as Polonius in "Hamlet" and Shallow in "Henry IV."
Apart from being an actor, Bradley is also the President of the independent theater community "Second Thoughts." However, his success on the theater stage is just one aspect of his talent. He has also gained significant popularity for his roles in film and television. Bradley's first television appearances were in minor roles in British TV series, such as the well-known series "Murder, She Wrote" (known to Russian viewers). His breakthrough role came in 1997 when he portrayed a vagabond in an episode of the TV series "Midsomer Murders." He later appeared in feature films such as "Kingdom Come" (2000), "The Barber of England" (2001), and "This Is Not a Love Song" (2002).
However, Bradley's most renowned role in film to date is that of Mr. Filch in the "Harry Potter" series. Additionally, he is known for being a passionate supporter of the English football club "Aston Villa."
