David Dominic DeLuise, born on November 11, 1971, hails from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. His parents, Dom DeLuise and Carol Arthur, were both accomplished actors. David's elder brothers, Peter and Michael DeLuise, have also made their mark as actors.

Acting Career

DeLuise's acting career began at the tender age of eight in 1979. He made his cinematic debut in the film "Hot Stuff," playing the role of David Fortunato. Since then, he has accumulated over 70 acting credits to his name.

"Wizards of Waverly Place" and Directing

David's breakout role came in 2007 with the Disney Channel sitcom "Wizards of Waverly Place." He portrayed the comical patriarch of the Russo family, Jerry Russo, for the show's entire run from 2007 to 2012. During this time, he also stepped behind the camera, directing four episodes of the series between 2009 and 2011.

Personal Life

In 1994, DeLuise married Bridgette DeLuise, with whom he had two daughters, Riley DeStefano DeLuise and Dylan DeLuise. After their divorce in 2003, David began dating actress Julia Stoepel. The couple tied the knot in 2019 after four years of courtship and have been happily married ever since.
