In 1994, Smith gained prominence as a correspondent for "Unsolved Mysteries," NBC's popular prime-time show. She subsequently became an environmental correspondent for ABC's "Home Show" for six years, earning two Genesis Awards and an EMA nomination for her efforts in raising awareness about environmental issues.
Acting Appearances
Smith showcased her acting abilities in a season of "General Hospital" (1989) as Valerie Freeman. She also appeared as Huey Lewis's love interest in the music video for "Stuck with You," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks in 1986.
Personal Life
Since August 4, 2001, Smith has been married to actor Pierce Brosnan. They have two sons, Dylan Thomas Brosnan (born 1997) and Paris Beckett Brosnan (born 2001).
