David Filo was born in Wisconsin in 1966. He moved with his family to Moss Bluff, Louisiana, and then to the Lake Charles suburb. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Tulane University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Computer Science with honors. Filo subsequently pursued further studies at Stanford University.

Founding Yahoo!
