Biography of David Villa
David Villa is a Spanish football player and striker for the football club "Valencia". He developed a love for football at a young age and began training with his father. However, his hopes for a successful sporting future were almost dashed when he suffered a hip fracture at the age of four. After spending six months in a cast, Villa continued to grow as a player.

Early Career
Villa was a small and skinny child, so he was given special vitamins to strengthen his body. Even at a young age, he stood out for his speed and energetic actions on the field. His first attempt to join a football school at the club "Oviedo" was unsuccessful, but he was accepted into his hometown team, Langreo. Villa trained there until 1999, when he was invited to join the main team of Asturias - the Hihon Sporting - whose academy has produced many famous football players such as Kini, Luis Enrique, Angulo, and others.

Rise to Prominence
In the 2000/01 season, Villa played for the reserve team of Sporting - "Sporting-B", which competed in the third division. In the following season, he became a regular player for the main team in Segunda and scored 18 goals, immediately becoming the leader of the attack and the team's penalty taker. With 20 more goals in the next championship, Villa became a star in the second division of Spanish football. He was then invited to the Spanish youth national team, and in the summer of 2003, he transferred to the top division club "Zaragoza".

Success and International Career
In his new club, Villa continued to take penalty kicks, and one of them helped Zaragoza win the Copa del Rey, defeating Real Madrid 3-2 in the final. In La Liga, Villa scored 18 goals. The success in the Spanish Cup allowed the club to participate in the UEFA Cup 2004/05. In 2005, Villa moved to Valencia. In his first season with Valencia, he scored 25 goals (in 37 games) in La Liga and became the second-highest scorer in the championship after Samuel Eto'o. Throughout Valencia's history, only two players have scored more goals in a single season, and Villa's performance ranked third of all time.

Villa made his debut for the Spanish national team on February 9, 2005, in a match against San Marino. He also participated in the 2006 World Cup, scoring three goals in the tournament.
