Biography of Dawn Jackson

Dawn Jackson, a 36-year-old mother, tragically passed away from cancer after experiencing the stillbirth of her child. She was previously in good health, but her life took a devastating turn when her unborn baby passed away in her womb. Doctors diagnosed Dawn with cancer, and she fought for two more weeks before her life came to an end.

The loss of her child was a tremendous blow to Dawn Jackson and her entire family. However, the shocks did not end there. The grieving mother was also terminally ill, suffering from advanced-stage liver, spleen, and intestinal cancer. Knowing how much Dawn desired to get married, her fiancé Dean Jackson proposed an immediate wedding. Friends and relatives rallied together to organize the most memorable day of her life. The newlyweds were married for only two days before Dawn's passing in May 2015. Only fourteen days had passed since her diagnosis until this heartbreaking day. Dean Jackson, a bus driver from Blackpool, stated, "The diagnosis came as a complete shock to us. We thought we had a few more weeks. However, everything happened so quickly, and Dawn's health deteriorated rapidly." He continued, "I wanted to do everything in my power to make her happy and at peace. That's why I proposed to her." Dean added, "Her meaningful smile in many photos from our wedding hides her agony. Dawn looked stunning in her dress. Our wedding day was perfect in every way, considering our circumstances."

Dean now has the responsibility of raising his son from a previous relationship, as well as Dawn's children, 4-year-old Aidia and 1-year-old Carl. The single father's entire world was turned upside down in less than two months. He says, "I have so many happy memories of our life, of holidays and weekends spent with our children. Dawn was an amazing person, and I loved her qualities. She immediately embraced my son. As a carer, she was genuinely passionate about her work. I knew right away that she was the one for me." Dawn and Dean met eight years ago. In 2015, they were expecting the birth of their third child, a daughter named Jacey-May. However, in March, during her eighth month of pregnancy, Dawn started experiencing severe abdominal pain. She was taken to the hospital for examination. An ultrasound revealed no heartbeat for the baby girl. The procedure to deliver the stillborn baby had to be performed. The family buried baby Jacey-May on March 20th. A few weeks later, Dawn's condition worsened. Medical tests showed a blood clot in her chest, preventing oxygen delivery to her brain. Dawn suffered from a persistent cough, could not eat anything, and lost over 30 kilograms. Further examinations revealed a suspicious growth in her liver. On April 20th, 2015, just a month after baby Jacey-May's funeral, Dawn learned about her terminal liver cancer. Metastases were found in her intestine and spleen.

Dean said, "We were completely crushed. However, Dawn reacted to this news the same way she did to the loss of our child. She shed tears but said that she needed to stay strong for our children." He continued, "She always wanted to get married, so she was over the moon about my proposal. At that time, we still thought we had months or even years left. It turned out to be mere days. I think I was deceiving myself, believing that she would live longer." Dawn Jackson passed away on May 4th, 2015, with her husband by her side during her final moments.
