Early Life and Education
Demet Özdemir was born on February 26, 1992, in Kocaeli, Turkey. She has an older brother, Volkan, and a sister, Derya. Her parents divorced in 2000, and Özdemir moved to Istanbul with her mother. She attended Şahika Tekand Theatre Studio for two years after graduating from high school.
Modeling and Dance Career
Özdemir's slender frame, charming smile, and dancing talent caught the attention of PR managers, leading to regular invitations for advertising shoots. In 2012, she appeared in a commercial for Pegasus Airlines. Her main dance group, Efes Kızları, performed at basketball matches for "Anadolu Efes" as cheerleaders.
Television Career
In 2013, Özdemir made her television debut in the fantasy series "Benim Hala Umudum Var" ("My Hope Remains") on Fox TV. The following year, she landed a role in the historical drama "Kurt Seyit ve Şura" ("Kurt Seyit and Shura") on Star TV. In 2015, she starred in the fantasy comedy film "Söz" ("Promise") and the romantic drama series "Çilek Kokusu" ("Strawberry Smell"). The latter gained her widespread recognition and won her the 44th Golden Butterfly Award for Best Actress.

In 2016, Özdemir's breakout role came in the romantic comedy series "No: 309." She played the role of Lale, a woman who accidentally meets and falls in love with Ozan, played by Furkan Palalı. The series became a huge success in Turkey and beyond.

Özdemir is currently preparing for her lead role in the romantic drama series "Aşk Laftan Anlamaz" ("Love Doesn't Understand Words") on BKM Film Productions. She has also signed a contract with Garnier Turkey and became the official face of the cosmetic brand in Turkey.
