Early Career and Club History

Denis Ilescu, a Moldovan defender, began his football journey at Igor Dobrovolsky's youth academy in Chisinau. In 2006, he made his professional debut with Chisinau's "Academia." The following year, he joined the Ukrainian club "Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih," playing a single match in the Ukrainian Premier League.

After brief stints with Russian clubs "Saturn Moscow Oblast" and "Anzhi Makhachkala," Ilescu returned to "Academia" in 2009. He scored his first national championship goal on August 2, 2009, against "Zimbru Chisinau."

International Career

Ilescu has represented Moldova at both the youth and senior levels. He played for the Moldovan under-21 team in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers. On February 6, 2008, he made his debut for the senior national team in a friendly match against Kazakhstan.

Later Club Career

In 2015, Ilescu joined Chisinau's "Dacia Chisinau," where he has remained since. With "Dacia," he has competed in both domestic and European competitions.

Throughout his career, Ilescu has won several individual awards and team honors.
