Early Life and Education
Anton Privolnov was born in Stavropol, Russia in 1978. However, he spent his early years in Novorossiysk, Saratov, and Ivanovo, where he attended Ivanov State University. In 1997, he enrolled in the university's Philology Department, majoring in Journalism.
Career in Journalism
While a student, Privolnov began his journalism career at a local newspaper and then at the Ivanovo branch of the Russian State Television and Radio. In 1998, he moved to Moscow to pursue his dream of working in television. He joined NTV's new crime program, "Kriminal," as a correspondent. Eventually, he became the show's host and later anchored the main news bulletin "Segodnya." In 2004, Privolnov worked as a special correspondent for Channel One.
Transition to Public Relations
In 2005, Privolnov briefly switched gears and became head of the press service for the Internal Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A year later, he assumed the role of deputy head of the press service for the Federal Migration Service.
Back to Television and "Ekstrennyy Vyzov"
In 2007, Privolnov moved to Saint Petersburg and joined the team of "Ekstrennyy Vyzov," then aired on Channel Five. In 2010, the program moved to REN TV, where Privolnov became its host.
Personal Life
Privolnov enjoys extreme expeditionary travel to remote regions of Russia. He is also an avid reader and a passionate sports fan. He has a son named Timur, who plays football. Privolnov remains unmarried.
