Personal Life

Denise met her husband, Marc Rich, on a blind date arranged by her father, Emil Eisenberg, a wealthy shoe manufacturer. They married in 1996 and had three children together: Daniella, Ilona, and Gabrielle. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 1996. Marc Rich was later pardoned in 2001 by former President Bill Clinton, with accusations against him including tax evasion that Denise did not pay before leaving the country in 1983. The House of Representatives' investigative committee concluded that Denise Rich's contributions to Clinton's presidential campaign influenced the decision to pardon Marc Rich.
