In the second round of their clash, Jefferson connected with a powerful left hook that dropped Harris. Harris managed to rise, but Jefferson relentlessly pursued, landing another left uppercut that sent Harris to the canvas a second time. As Jefferson pressed his advantage, Harris surprised him with a counter right cross, knocking him down. The remainder of the round was a brutal exchange of blows.
