Childhood and Education

Born in Ukraine, the future director pursued legal studies at the law institute in Minsk, working as a lawyer. Her artistic journey began with acting, where she graduated from the dramatic studio at the Academic Belarusian Drama Theater named after Yanka Kupala in Minsk.

Academic Qualifications

Her passion for directing led her to pursue a degree in theater and film directing from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Notably, she completed her postgraduate studies in directing at GITIS in Moscow under the guidance of renowned theater director Yuri Zavadsky.

Career as Director

The director embarked on her cinematic career at the Belarusfilm studio in Minsk, helming eight television and film projects. These included "Day for Night," "The Fakir for an Hour," "End of Indian Summer," and "Worries of Early Birds." She also directed multiple-episode series such as "Reliable Person," "Echo in the Wild," "Cross of Mercy," and "Emperor's Novel."

Theater Productions

In addition to her film endeavors, the director showcased her versatility by staging several theater productions in various venues. Notable among them were "Two on the Seesaw" at the Russian Theater and "Trio Minor" at the Theater-Studio of Cinema Actors.

Entrepreneurial Venture

In 1991, the director founded her own enterprise, Cinema Advertising Agency "Cinemarek," which has since become a renowned producer of feature films, television series, documentaries, and commercials.
