Early Life and Education

Dmitry Kashchuk was born on May 4, 1983, in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He spent his childhood in Lviv, Ukraine, where he attended School No. 82 from 1990 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005, he pursued a degree in International Economics at Lviv Polytechnic National University.

In 2004, Kashchuk enrolled in the Institute of Postgraduate Education at Ivan Franko National University to study Law, graduating in 2008. He continued his education at the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine from 2011 to 2014, earning a degree in Public Administration.

Kashchuk also completed the Executive Development Program in "Systems and Systems Thinking for Managers" at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS) in 2021. Additionally, he participated in programs at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Government Service and Career in the Natural Resources Sector

From 2008 to 2010, Kashchuk served as Deputy Director and Head of Export Development within the Department of Foreign Economic Policy at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. He was involved in developing draft laws on the State Budget and preparing budget initiatives.

In 2010-2011, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Main Department of Economy and Investment, as well as Head of the Investment Policy Department, at the Lviv Regional State Administration. From 2013, he became Deputy Director of the company "Fiakr-Lviv."

Kashchuk's experience in the natural resources sector began in 2014 when he joined Chevron as their representative in Western Ukraine. He played a pivotal role as the Chairman of the State Geological Service of Ukraine from May 21 to December 10, 2014. During his tenure, he spearheaded legislative initiatives, combated corruption, and attracted investments.

Entrepreneurship and Public Engagement

Since 2017, Kashchuk has been involved in the development and co-authorship of the "Rikom" information complex, a property rights co-owner. From 2018 to 2021, he served as the Head of the "Science Exploration Extraction" public organization.

Kashchuk is an active blogger, writing for "NV" and "Ekonomichna Pravda." He also implements investment projects in the field of natural resources management. As a philanthropist, he supports various charitable causes.

Personal Life

Dmitry Kashchuk is married with two daughters. He is fluent in English and German.
