Eddie Redmayne is an English actor, singer, and model. He was born in London, England, to parents who were involved in business. Redmayne attended Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge.

Early Career
In 2002, Redmayne made his debut on the theatrical stage in the production of "Twelfth Night." In 2004, he was named "Best Newcomer" at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards for his performance in Edward Albee's "The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?" The following year, Redmayne received another similar award from the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards.

Theater Success
Redmayne continued to shine on stage. From September to October 2008, he appeared in Christopher Shinn's "Now or Later."
