Early Life and Education

Timothy Dazeley, a renowned British violinist, began his musical journey at the Royal College of Music in London under the tutelage of Felix Andrievsky. He further honed his skills at the Juilliard School with Dorothy DeLay and Peter Miegley.

The Takács Quartet

In 1993, Dazeley embarked on a significant chapter in his career by joining the Takács Quartet, where he succeeded its founder, Gábor Takács-Nagy, as first violin. With the quartet, Dazeley has garnered numerous prestigious awards, including the Grammy Award for their recording of Ludwig van Beethoven's quartets (2003).
