Biography of Edyta Sliwinska

Professional dancer and participant of the popular American television show "Dancing with the Stars", Edyta Sliwinska was born in 1981 in Warsaw, Poland. Her parents were simple Polish workers, and Edyta began dancing at the age of 10. Making progress, she soon became one of the first dancers in her country and began representing Poland in international competitions. She also appeared in several television commercials and was featured in Polish magazines.

In 2000, Sliwinska moved to the United States, where she continued her dancing career. Her name became known after meeting Alec Mazo at the Blackpool Dance Festival in England. Edyta and Alec became a highly successful dance partnership and later got married. The couple became finalists in the US competition four times and represented the United States in numerous international competitions.

In the summer of 2005, Edyta made her first appearance on the show "Dancing with the Stars". The program quickly became one of the most popular and highest-rated American shows.
