Early Life and Career

Elisabeth Singleton Moss was born on July 24, 1982, in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of musicians, she made her screen debut in 1990 as Robin in the television drama "Bar Girls." From 1992 to 1995, she portrayed Cynthia Parks in seven episodes of "Picket Fences." Moss also voiced Michelle the little badger in the 1993 animated film "Once Upon a Forest" and appeared in the television remake of "Gypsy" starring Bette Midler.

Breakthrough Roles

In 1994, Moss played Greta Weiler, Harvey Keitel's younger daughter, in the drama "Imaginary Crimes."
