Ellen Verbeek is one of the founders of 'Cosmo' Russia. She is the creator of the magazine 'Cosmo' in Russia. Prior to this, Verbeek worked as a journalist in the Netherlands and gained extensive experience in publishing similar magazines in the West. She has been in Russia for almost ten years.

During this time, Verbeek, along with Elena Myasnikova, served as the editor of 'Cosmo', the first glossy magazine for women in Russia, which was created in 1994. Verbeek also sits on the advisory board of Independent Media.
