Early Life and Career at Portuguesa Desportos

Elísio Cedás was born in Brazil and began his football career with Portuguesa Desportos. He made his debut on May 22, 1932, in a match against Internacional, where Portuguesa emerged victorious with a score of 3-0.

Success with Portuguesa

Cedás played a significant role in Portuguesa's successes. He helped the team win two Campeonato Paulista titles in 1935 and 1936. In 1936, he also became the league's top scorer with 19 goals.

During his tenure with Portuguesa, Cedás scored an impressive 55 goals in 62 appearances. His final match with the club was on January 10, 1937, against Fluminense in the Tournament of Champions. Portuguesa triumphed 4-1 in the competition that featured champions from São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and Espírito Santo.

Transfer to São Paulo
