Biography of Emin Agaev
Emin Agaev is a former Azerbaijani football player and current football coach. He was born in Azerbaijan and represented the Azerbaijani national team during his playing career. Agaev made his debut in the Russian Premier League in 2001, playing for Moscow-based club "Torpedo-ZIL". He also holds Russian citizenship and has a coaching license of category "A", which he obtained in Kyiv.
Playing Career
During his career, Agaev played for several clubs including "Anzhi" (Makhachkala), "Khimki" (Khimki), "Baltika" (Kaliningrad), "Dynamo" (Bryansk), "Nosta" (Novotroitsk), "Nara-SHBFR" (Naro-Fominsk), and "Volga" (Tver). He achieved notable success as a player, winning the First Division of Russia in 2000.
Coaching Career
Since 2011, Agaev has been involved in coaching activities. He spent several years as the head coach of "Dagdizel" and worked in the coaching staff of "Domodedovo" club. In February 2015, Agaev was appointed as the head coach of the Tver-based club "Volga". Since 2016, he has been working within the system of the "Khimki" club.
Achievements
Agaev was named the Footballer of the Year in Azerbaijan in 2000 according to the "Football+" newspaper. He was also part of the winning team in the first division of Russia in 2000.
