Butorac started his professional career in 2003 and quickly made a name for himself in the world of doubles tennis. In July 2006, he reached his first ATP final in Los Angeles, partnering with Jamie Murray. The following year, Butorac and Murray won three tournaments together in San Jose, Memphis, and Nottingham.

Success with Rohan Bopanna
