Erica Eleniak - Biography

Erica Eleniak was born in Glendale, California. She made her first appearance on screen at the age of 12 in Steven Spielberg's film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," where she played a small "background" role. For a long time, Eleniak's acting career was limited to television: she appeared in TV movies, had guest roles in TV series, and starred in the show "Charles in Charge" for a year. However, everything changed in 1989 when Erica became a Playboy Playmate of the Month. Shortly after, she landed one of the lead roles in the TV series "Baywatch." After working on the show for three years and appearing in two TV movies based on "Baywatch," Eleniak left the series to try her luck in the film industry.

Despite being cast in leading roles alongside film idols such as Steven Seagal in "Under Siege," her hopes for success were not fulfilled. After the failure of Dennis Hopper's film "Chasers" (1994) and "A Pyromaniac's Love Story" (1995), Erica began appearing in B-movies and TV movies. In 1998, she made a comeback in mainstream cinema with the action film "The Pandora Project."

After marrying actor Phillip Goglia in 1998, Erica started using the name Erica Eleniak-Goglia.
