Early Life and Education

Eruhanwas born in Constantinople, where he received his education. Throughout his life, he remained actively involved in literary pursuits.

Writing and Publishing

From 1891 to 1896, Eruhan published a series of novellas in the newspapers "Arevelk" and "Masis." His work showcased his keen observational skills and insightful commentary on social issues.

Exile and Return

With the onset of the Armenian pogroms (1894-1896), Eruhan sought refuge in Bulgaria. In 1904, he relocated to Egypt, where he continued his literary endeavors. In 1908, he returned to Turkey.

Literary Accomplishments

During his lifetime, Eruhan penned several novels, including "The Daughter of the Emir" (1910), which garnered critical acclaim. He also displayed his linguistic mastery by translating works by renowned French authors such as Alphonse Daudet and Hector Malot into Armenian.

Tragic End

Eruhan's life was tragically cut short during the Armenian Genocide of 1915. His untimely demise silenced a promising voice in Armenian literature and deprived the world of his invaluable contributions.
