Biography of Estas Tonne
Estas Tonne is a guitarist and modern troubadour born on April 24, 1975, in Zaporizhia, Ukrainian SSR. He started studying music and playing the guitar at the age of eight, developing a love for music from around the world. In the 1990s, he moved to Israel with his family, where he lived for about ten years without pursuing music.
Rediscovering Music
After traveling to various countries for a few years, Estas Tonne received a guitar as a gift in New York City in September 2002, which ultimately changed his life. From that moment, he started traveling the world, performing street concerts and participating in festivals. He began calling himself a modern troubadour.
International Performances
Estas Tonne has performed at numerous international festivals, including "Buskers Festival Stadtspektakel" in Landsberg, Germany, "Aufgetischt Festival!" in St. Gallen, Switzerland, "No Mind Festival 2013" in Sweden, "5th International Summer Music Festival 2013, Venue for Revival, Culture and Personal Development" in Pirgos, Greece, "International Summer Concerts 2013" in Greece, and "Gara Vasara Festival 2013" in Riga, Latvia, among many others.
The Virtuoso Musician
Collaborating with virtuoso violinist Michael Shulman, Estas Tonne began performing throughout New York City. From 2002 to 2017, he gave approximately 3,000 concerts, visited over a hundred countries, recorded ten albums, and gained the status of a virtuoso musician. He performs on both large and small stages and continues to develop his unique style, enhancing it with each new composition.
