Esther Koplowitz is a well-known Spanish businesswoman and billionaire. She inherited the family company, Fomento de Construcciones, along with her sister from their father, Ernest Koplowitz. Her personal fortune is estimated to be around $3.3 billion, according to Forbes magazine in 2008.

Esther was born in Madrid, Spain, and attended a French lyceum before studying philosophy. Her father, Ernest Koplowitz, founded the family business empire after immigrating from Silesia, which was part of Germany at the time. Despite his limited knowledge of Spanish, Ernest utilized his German roots to work as a representative for German companies.
