Biography of Evgenia Trofimova

Evgenia Trofimova, an 18-year-old top model turned actress, has made a name for herself through her own efforts. When she was 11 years old, her parents moved from their hometown of Omsk to Moscow. This was perhaps the only stroke of luck she had, as everything else she achieved on her own.

At the age of 12, Evgenia's childhood came to an end and her secret life began. She had to hide her work on the catwalk and in front of the cameras from her strict father for 4 years. After every fashion show or photoshoot, she would rush to her friend's place to remove her makeup. However, when she turned 16, her businessman father found out about everything and became proud of his daughter.

Her international career as a model hit a roadblock when she was told by "Red Stars" that her face was not trendy enough, as it had a more classical look. However, Evgenia decided not to give up. She sent her photos to modeling agencies around the world through the internet and was invited to New York. Unfortunately, as a minor, she couldn't travel to the United States. Instead, she took a risk and went to Paris to conquer another capital of the fashion world. There, she was noticed by Nino Cerruti and featured in his fashion shows, although they were not major ones. Later, she was also engaged by Jean Paul Gaultier and Emanuel Ungaro. Despite her talent, Evgenia has yet to become a highly paid model. To accelerate her career, she needs a sponsor to buy her a cover in a major international magazine. Unfortunately, she knows that this sponsorship comes at a price, and as determined as she is, she is not willing to sacrifice everything for her career.

Meanwhile, film director Alexander Atanesyan was searching for a leading actress for his melodrama "Summer Rain". Hundreds of girls auditioned for the role. Atanesyan reviewed the portfolios of models and actresses from various agencies and categorized them into three groups: "super", "more or less", and "less than more". Evgenia was deemed "super" (as the crew described her face as pure love), but she was in Paris, Italy, or Cuba at that time. On the last day of casting, without any hope (as she had no acting experience or training), she managed to present herself to the director.

"Your nose is crooked and your hair color is strange, but you fit the role!" said the director. And so, her double life began once again. She studied her role while also cramming for her high school exams in Russian and chemistry during that hot summer.

Interestingly, her character in the film also had a double role, torn between her husband and her lover in a love quadrangle (the lover was also not free). It was a challenging situation for a "girl without a mask" - someone who is open and sincere. However, playing the role was easy for Evgenia, as she found many similarities between herself and her character. Both were simple, optimistic, and intelligent. Despite her young age, the actress and her character understood people well and knew exactly what a man would say or do in different situations. And as for being in love, Evgenia knows all about it, as she is currently experiencing a romance herself. The film drastically changed the plans of the young model. She has taken up English lessons, is learning to drive a car, and is preparing to apply to the Moscow Art Theatre School to receive an acting education.

And how is the romantic conflict resolved in the film? Quite unexpectedly. In fact, the film has many unconventional elements, such as Evgenia participating in a cool trick that is prohibited in world cinema. What kind of trick? Watch "Summer Rain" to find out!
