She was born on February 11, 1919, in Budapest, Hungary, and was the middle child among three sisters who all became actresses and achieved fame. Eva's parents, who named her Lisa Douglas at birth, had a happy marriage and actively participated in raising their daughters.

Early Career
In the 1930s, Eva moved to the United States and began her career in both film and theater on Broadway. She later made appearances on television, showcasing her talent in various shows, including "The Eva Gabor Show." She also played engaging roles in television movies and series. Television played a significant role in Eva Gabor's life, and her outstanding work in the television series "Green Acres" was highly acclaimed and immensely popular. Tragic Accident and Later Life

She was buried in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in California, next to the burial site of the well-known actor Eddie Albert, with whom she had acted in the film "Green Acres."
Legacy and Family
Despite being the youngest in the family, Eva Gabor passed away before her mother and sister. Her mother, for instance, passed away in 1997 at the age of 100, just a few years after Eva's death. Another sister of Eva's died in the same year as their mother, from kidney failure. As for her sister Zsa Zsa Gabor, she is still alive and relatively healthy, despite her advanced age. Like her sisters, Eva Gabor was married multiple times. While she could not match the marriage tally of her sister Zsa Zsa, who had nine marriages, Eva had a total of five marriages. Her final marriage lasted almost ten years before ending in divorce.
