Biography of Facundo Arana
Early LifeFacundo Arana, born on March 31, 1972, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is an Argentine actor who is known for being one of the most attractive actors in Latin America. He comes from a family with German roots, thanks to his mother Matilda von Bernard, a former hockey player. Facundo is the second child in the family, with an older sister, Patsy Arana, and two younger sisters, Paula Arana and Agustina Arana.

Start of Acting Career
Facundo Arana began his acting career at the age of 15. He started attending a theater studio on the advice of a friend and fell in love with acting. However, in 1989, his career was threatened when he was diagnosed with lymph node cancer. Despite his illness, he made his television debut in 1992, playing a role in the series "Brodachoye Penie." His talent for playing the saxophone, which he used to earn money at a metro station, caught the attention of producer Lito Espinosa, who invited him to join the series. This marked the beginning of Facundo's acting career.

Success with "Wild Angel"
Following "Brodachoye Penie," Facundo appeared in several other series, including "Los Mejores" (1992), "Marco Candidato" (1993), and "Tosca" (1993). In 1994, he fully recovered from his illness and starred in two more series, "Alta Comedia" and "La Perla Negra." However, it was his role in the series "Chiquititas" from 1995 to 2001, especially as the twin brothers Alejo and Manuel Mendez Ayal, that brought him recognition and elevated him to the status of a sex symbol in Argentine television.

International Success with "Wild Angel"
Facundo gained international fame with the soap opera "Wild Angel." The series, which aired for a year and had 270 episodes, was a huge success not only in Argentina but also in Russia, Ukraine, Italy, the United States, and other countries. Facundo received the "Viva 2000 Israel" award for Best Actor for his role as Ivo in the series. His on-screen chemistry with Uruguayan actress Natalia Oreiro, who played the role of Milagros, captured the hearts of millions of viewers.

Continued Career
After the success of "Wild Angel," Facundo's career took different paths. While Natalia Oreiro continued to excel in both acting and music, Facundo had to search for new projects to maintain his popularity. He appeared in series such as "Good Neighbors" (1999) and "In the Nick of Time" (2000), but it was his role in the telenovela "Yago, Dark Passion" (2001) that earned him the Martin Fierro Award for Best Actor.
Facundo also ventured into film, starring in movies such as "Escape" (2001) and a feature-length continuation of the series "Chiquititas" called "Chiquititas: A Corner of Light" (2001). He continued to work in television, starring in series like "099 Central" (2002) and taking a brief break to travel around Argentina. Upon his return, he appeared in the mini-series "Sleeping with My Boss" (2003) and the detective series "Padre Coraje" (2004), which received critical acclaim and numerous awards.
Recent Projects and Personal Life
In 2006, Facundo reunited with Natalia Oreiro in the series "You Are My Life," which became the most successful project in the history of Argentine television channel El Trece. He continued to work in film and television, appearing in projects such as "Stolen Lives" (2008), "Water from the End of the World" (2011), "When You Smile at Me" (2011), "Hypocrites" (2013), and "By Night and Day with You" (2014).
