Education and Early Career
Professor Osman Fadıl Kara, an esteemed obstetrician and gynecologist, holds a prominent professorship in medical sciences. He commenced his academic journey by completing his primary and secondary education in the city of Tarsus. In 1977, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University.
Specialization and Accomplishments
After graduating medical school, Dr. Kara secured an assistant position in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ankara's Faculty of Medicine in 1980. By 1984, he had specialized in this field. His career progressed further in 1986 when he became a deputy head physician at the Ankara Zübeyde Hanım Maternity Hospital.
He subsequently served as a lecturer and deputy head of the clinic at the Dr. Sami Ulus Gynecology and Children's Health Education and Research Hospital. In 2010, Dr. Kara ascended to the position of associate professor. In 2015, he was appointed professor at Amasya University and became the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Administrative Responsibilities and Memberships
Professor Kara's contributions extend beyond teaching and research. He currently holds positions on the Administrative Council and Disciplinary Committee of Amasya University. His administrative experience also includes serving as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
