Early Career and Rise to Prominence

Güngör began his football journey at the age of 11 with Bakırköyspor's academy. His exceptional talent quickly caught the attention of top clubs in the Turkish Süper Lig. At just 17, he made his professional debut with Ankaragücü.

Captaincy and Leadership

Güngör's rapid rise continued, culminating in his appointment as Ankaragücü's captain at the age of 23. His leadership and reliable performances earned him high praise from Turkish experts. Hailed as "one of the national team's biggest hopes in international tournaments," Güngör attracted interest from Fenerbahçe, but ultimately opted to join Galatasaray.

Galatasaray Success
