Finn Wolfhard was born on December 23, 2002 in Vancouver, Canada, to a family with French, German, and Jewish roots. Despite spending most of his time in Hollywood due to his involvement in film and television projects, Wolfhard continues his education at the Catholic School in Vancouver.

Wolfhard's first role came through the popular American classifieds website Craigslist. He made his debut in the independent film "Aftermath" in 2013, followed by another similar project called "The Resurrection" in the same year.
