As chief editor of the theatre monthly Sipario, Quadri established his reputation as a leading theatre critic. He was instrumental in founding the publishing house Ubulibri (1971), where he edited the annual publication Patalogo. In 1990, he initiated the international theatre laboratory École des Maîtres and curated its publications.
