Biography of Freddie Highmore
Freddie Highmore is an American actor known for his iconic roles in the career of a young, prolific, and successful actor - Norman Bates in the suspenseful drama series "Bates Motel" and Dr. Shaun Murphy in the series "The Good Doctor." Highmore gained worldwide recognition through films such as "Finding Neverland," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "August Rush," and "The Spiderwick Chronicles."

Early Life and Family
Alfred Thomas "Freddie" Highmore was born on February 14, 1992, in Camden Town, London, into a show business family. His mother is a talent agent with clients such as Daniel Radcliffe and Imelda Staunton, while his father, Edward Highmore, is an actor. Freddie began his career with small television roles at the age of seven. He made his big screen debut in 1999 in the comedy "Women Talking Dirty," where he portrayed the son of Helena Bonham Carter's character. Highmore acted alongside his family members in two films: his brother Bertie in "Women Talking Dirty" and his father Edward in the fantasy film "Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story."
